Cockroach control
Cockroaches are the most common call we get in apartment buildings, and the most commonly treated wrong. Spraying baseboards moves a German cockroach population around; it does not remove it. The colony lives inside cabinet voids, motor housings and hinge gaps, and that is where the work has to happen.
How to know that’s what you have
- Live insects when you turn a kitchen light on at night
- Small dark specks that look like ground pepper along cabinet edges and hinges
- A sweet, oily smell in a cabinet or under the sink when the infestation is established
- Shed skins or small brown egg cases wedged into corners and drawer runners
What we actually do
- 01
Find the harbourage, not the sighting
We inspect cabinet voids, the motor compartments of the refrigerator and dishwasher, sink cabinets and any shared plumbing chase. Where you see a roach is rarely where it lives.
- 02
Gel bait placed where roaches actually travel
Precise bait placement in voids and hinge gaps, not surface spray. Bait is carried back to the harbourage and reaches the insects you cannot see.
- 03
Close the routes between units
In apartment buildings we seal pipe penetrations and shared chases. Without this step a treated unit is re-infested from the neighbouring one.
- 04
Follow-up on the egg cycle
Egg cases are protected from most treatments. We return on the hatch cycle to break the generation, which is the step most one-visit treatments skip.
Where the treatment actually goes

How long it takes
Most kitchens are visibly quiet within one to two weeks. A heavy, established German cockroach infestation in a multi-family building normally needs two to three visits across six to eight weeks to break the egg cycle.
